Prophecies and the Third World War (Khandakar Shahryer Sultan)

Format read: Paperback

Genre: Islamic

Rating: 4 out of 10

Plot: This book goes over some prophecies from the Quran and Hadith concerning the end of the world.  It is divided into parts of prophecies that were fulfilled long ago, prophecies that were fulfilled recently, and prophecies that have yet to be fulfilled.

Opinion: I was not a fan of this book and as a result, it took a while to get through.  First, it was poorly edited and had a lot of redundancies.  Not only were the same concepts repeated over and over, but whole pages were repeated word for word.  Second, the author jumped to his own conclusions which aren’t supported by Quran and Hadith and even made up his own predictions.  An example of this is when he called the U.S. and Great Britain Gog and Magog, which contradicts with the hadiths saying Gog and Magog won’t emerge until after Jesus (a.s.) returns.  I think there are much better books on this subject and I was very disappointed with this one.
